Spectators: 6663 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1663, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Aílton Donato started the match with the kick off. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Henrique Eger during the 4th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Diguinho Veiga took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 5th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Glauco Pinho. Panama SS's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Laerte Linares let the left foot speak when in front of goal in the 11th minute shot 1-0 at rihgt post. After a rather tough play, Panama SS's Manoel Prata got a free kick in the 18th minute. In the 33rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Panama SS's goalkeeper Glauco Pinho, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Leonel Veiga in the 34th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Glauco Pinho saved Panama SS from getting behind. After a defensive mix-up in Labrador's zone, Henrique Eger stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Tião Peres came out of the goal and Henrique Eger tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When José Augusto Silveira fell near the penalty area in the 37th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Labrador's protests and gave José Augusto Silveira a yellow card for diving instead. José Augusto Silveira hit a great freekick 37 minutes into the match. Tião Peres made an important save on a dangerous shot by Laerte Linares in the 43rd minute.

The wind increased when Valdemar Secco made the kick off in the second half. Erivaldo Mandrak charged in rather forcefully in the 52nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Erivaldo Mandrak the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Diguinho Veiga, 53 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Glauco Pinho was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Valdemar Secco showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-1 in the 56 minute of play. The supporters of Labrador booed when Panama SS was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 62 match minutes in a wonderful position. Henrique Eger didn't get a good kick on the ball. Tião Peres showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Aílton Donato in the 72nd minute of the match. 73 minutes into the match, Labrador's goal looked a bit too open when Laerte Linares came free, but Tião Peres reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 75th minute of the match Panama SS got a corner. Labrador's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Elivélton Coutinho ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner led Panama SS's Elivélton Coutinho to fire away a dangerous shot which Tião Peres despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. The Panama SS fans' excitement grew in the 82nd match minute when Panama SS's Aílton Donato looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Tião Peres made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aílton Donato in the 86th minute of play. Manoel Prata struck a weak shot in the 89th minute. Tião Peres didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Panama SS. Labrador's Tião Peres played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Laerte Linares in the 91st minute of play. After having played for 96 minutes, Leonel Veiga managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Labrador's supporters crossed their fingers, but Leonel Veiga was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 97th match minute, Panama SS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Erivaldo Mandrak to maneuver through the defense. With a little luck, Panama SS's Glauco Pinho got control of the ball when Leonel Veiga tried to sneak it across the goal line.
