But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Pedro Simões couldn't finish the play. Diamantino Teles fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nestor de Alcântara having to interfere. After 13 played minutes Tureckão2000 got a freekick which was hit by Pedro Simões. In the 23rd minute, one of Tureckão2000:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Tureckão2000. After 26 played minutes 1500 Esporte Club got a freekick which was hit by Gláuber Veiga. After having played for 34 minutes, Filipe Koehler managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. 1500 Esporte Club's supporters crossed their fingers, but Filipe Koehler was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in 1500 Esporte Club's zone, Pedro Simões stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Tiago Rezende came out of the goal and Pedro Simões tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 41 minutes into the match, 1500 Esporte Club's Diamantino Teles sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Nestor de Alcântara narrowly saved just below the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Pedro Simões in the 48th minute of play forced 1500 Esporte Club's goalkeeper Tiago Rezende to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.

Pedro Simões kicked well hit freekick during the 59th minute of the match. 62 minutes into the match, Diamantino Teles notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Tureckão2000's Nestor de Alcântara. Nestor de Alcântara was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Nestor de Alcântara showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Filipe Koehler in the 87th minute of the match. Anselmo Sergipano's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Tiago Rezende read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 89th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when João Augusto Mendes got free with Tiago Rezende in the 91st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. 1500 Esporte Club had won after a very even match.
