Murillo Marques took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Valdir Soeiro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Laerte Moreno fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pedro Luiz Netto having to interfere. With his leg Pedro Luiz Netto managed to avoid a goal in the 29thth minute, when Real Nazareno's Kauan Ribeiro fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. The supporters of Real Nazareno booed when BARDERA FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 30 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cléber Meirelles didn't get a good kick on the ball. Valdir Soeiro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 33rd minute. Murillo Marques tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 45th minute, Bernardo Cardozo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Real Nazareno's supporters rose to their feet, but Bernardo Cardozo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Pedro Luiz Netto breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Murillo Marques showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Valdir Soeiro in the 48th minute of the match.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Filipe de Moraes to make the kick off. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Real Nazareno had played much better football throughout.
