In the 11th match minute, Yogut Club was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Paulo de Toledo to maneuver through the defense. Carlos Alberto Soares took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 12th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Clemente Vianna. Yogut Club's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. After 13 minutes, Paulo de Toledo mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Yogut Club and the Chuvarada players grew even worse after the yellow card. Paulo de Toledo kicked well hit freekick during the 13th minute of the match. Clemente Vianna took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Josué Saldanha, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 20th minute, Falcão Domingues hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 21st minute of the match Paulo de Toledo sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but José Paulo Pena skillfully saved the ball. Chuvarada's José Paulo Pena played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fabiano Custódio in the 24th minute of play. In the 28th minute the ball was on its way in behind Yogut Club's goalkeeper Clemente Vianna, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Geovânio Moreno recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 30th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. José Paulo Pena was out of position in the 32 minute of play, and Oséias Rocha capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Oséias Rocha really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. Fabiano Custódio recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 35th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 36th match minute, Chuvarada was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Carlos Alberto Soares to maneuver through the defense. The corner led to Chuvarada's Falcão Domingues getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. After having played for 45 minutes, Josué Saldanha managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Chuvarada's supporters crossed their fingers, but Josué Saldanha was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Geovânio Moreno sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Fabiano Custódio was the one to do the kick off. Chuvarada's Josué Saldanha got a good chance for a goal in the 51st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Yogut Club's Clemente Vianna proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 52nd minute of the match, managed to save Yogut Club from getting a goal against them. Oséias Rocha sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Geovânio Moreno fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Clemente Vianna having to interfere. Oséias Rocha sent away a hard shot on goal in the 67th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. José Paulo Pena tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Oséias Rocha had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 83rd minute, Cristian de Souza managed to get in a good position for a shot. Yogut Club's supporters rose to their feet, but Cristian de Souza was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. José Paulo Pena breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Fabiano Custódio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 86th minute. José Paulo Pena tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Chuvarada's Cristian Dante got a free kick in the 87th minute. When Yogut Club's Fabiano Custódio in the 93rd minute got a chance for a shot 93rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Chuvarada's goalie prevented a goal. Yogut Club's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
