Chuvarada's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Tureckão2000 the free kick. Pedro Simões recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 45th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Anselmo Sergipano stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. With a little luck, Tureckão2000's Nestor de Alcântara got control of the ball when Geovânio Moreno tried to sneak it across the goal line. Pedro Simões charged in rather forcefully in the 67th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Pedro Simões the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. José Paulo Pena breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Anselmo Sergipano sent away a hard shot on goal in the 74th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. João Augusto Mendes hit a great freekick 76 minutes into the match. In the 89thth minute of the game Pedro Simões who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Chuvarada's José Paulo Pena was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Josué Saldanha in the 90th minute of play forced Tureckão2000's goalkeeper Nestor de Alcântara to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Nestor de Alcântara made a fantastic save in the 94th minute, when Geovânio Moreno sent off a good shot on target. Tureckão2000 were clearly unhappy with the draw, as they felt they had done enough to earn themselves a victory.
