Spectators: 6535 (Terracing: 5435, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 100) Tapuia EC's Silvério Pitta started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. João Albuquerque blasted a shot towards the goal in the 5th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Adriano Pinheiro having to make a save. Tapuia EC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 16th minute, when Mario Bros scored to the left of an out of position Adriano Pinheiro, making the score, 1-0. A collision led to Tapuia EC getting a freekick after 21 minutes play. Waldir Arruda hit a great ball. In the 23rd minute, João Albuquerque left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Barões da Peladinha fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Waldir Arruda in the 31st minute of play forced Barões da Peladinha's goalkeeper Aral Saltık to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Pedro Terra had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Adriano Pinheiro was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 36th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Diguinho Alves. Pedro Terra took the ball and in the 41 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Aral Saltık. Aral Saltık dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for João Albuquerque to strike the kick off in the second half. Pedro Terra fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aral Saltık having to interfere. Silvério Pitta struck a weak shot in the 59th minute. Aral Saltık didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Tapuia EC. An unexpectedly hard shot by João Albuquerque in the 61st minute of play forced Tapuia EC's goalkeeper Adriano Pinheiro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 65th minute João Albuquerque shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Adriano Pinheiro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Adriano Pinheiro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mario Bros, who was totally free with the ball in the 66th minute. Frederico Esteves kicked well hit freekick during the 68th minute of the match. João Albuquerque recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 77th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal.
