Spectators: 6662 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1662, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Anselmo da Mata took the kick off in the first half of the match. Gildo Azevedo charged in rather forcefully in the 6th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Gildo Azevedo the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Tapuia EC:s Adriano Pinheiro showed great skill when he stopped Jairo Simão:s penalty. After 8 played minutes, Real Parnamirim F.C.'s Giovanni Matorin shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Adriano Pinheiro came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Real Parnamirim F.C. reached it. Cauan Souza made in the 12th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Dedé Fantini. Anselmo da Mata might have been able to make a better finish in the 20th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Adriano Pinheiro. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Anselmo da Mata ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 22nd match minute, Real Parnamirim F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Arthur Gaspar to maneuver through the defense. Pedro Terra fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Elivélton Prata having to interfere. Arthur Gaspar recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 27th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Pedro Terra could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 32nd minute of the match, but Elivélton Prata made a huge save. After a rather tough play, Real Parnamirim F.C.'s Leonel Baptista got a free kick in the 33rd minute. A long shot from Cauan Souza in the 34th minute of play was well struck, but Elivélton Prata made a really good save at the right post. Valdomiro Freire took the ball and in the 38 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Adriano Pinheiro. Adriano Pinheiro dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. Zé Paranaense sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Silvério Pitta made a kick off. Giovanni Matorin's shot from long distance in the 53rd minute was not bad at all, but Tapuia EC's Adriano Pinheiro knew what was happening and pushed the ball into his arms just before it hit the right post. The supporters of Real Parnamirim F.C. booed when Tapuia EC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 57 match minutes in a wonderful position. Waldir Arruda didn't get a good kick on the ball. Anselmo da Mata sent away a hard shot on goal in the 67th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 70 minutes into the game, Silvério Pitta cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-3. Elivélton Prata was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Anselmo da Mata fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Adriano Pinheiro having to interfere. If Anselmo da Mata had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. A collision led to Real Parnamirim F.C. getting a freekick after 77 minutes play. Valdomiro Freire hit a great ball. Adriano Pinheiro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Anselmo da Mata, who was totally free with the ball in the 79th minute. If Anselmo da Mata had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Pedro Terra received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 85th minute. Elivélton Prata tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Adriano Pinheiro made an important save on a dangerous shot by Anselmo da Mata in the 87th minute. In the 88th minute Real Parnamirim F.C. were awarded a corner. Jairo Simão went to the cornerflag to take it. Real Parnamirim F.C.'s Elivélton Prata played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Silvério Pitta in the 95th minute of play.
