Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Juarês Cordeiro started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. If Juarês Cordeiro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 3rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Juarês Cordeiro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 5th minute. Gernando Medeiros tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Zé Paulo de Mendonça came free with the goalkeeper in the 8th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Renato Quirino could save by the left post. Gernando Medeiros made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Juarês Cordeiro in the 10th minute of play. 10 minutes into the game, Celsinho Arósio was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Oimerguez FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Cardozo the free kick. Celsinho Arósio kicked well hit freekick during the 10th minute of the match. Gernando Medeiros came out of the goal in the 18th minute to try and stop a shot by Cardozo's Kiko Gonçalves. But to his dismay, Kiko Gonçalves quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Kiko Gonçalves received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 22nd minute. Gernando Medeiros tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Gernando Medeiros didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Juarês Cordeiro went, in the 33rd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. In the 44th minute Clóvis Vides shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gernando Medeiros saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Cardozo's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Jano Meira in the 45th minute. If Kiko Gonçalves had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 48th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.

After a rather tough play, Cardozo's Marcinho Leite got a free kick in the 52nd minute. Renato Quirino showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Zé Paulo de Mendonça in the 53rd minute of the match. After having played for 55 minutes, Kiko Gonçalves managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Cardozo's supporters crossed their fingers, but Kiko Gonçalves was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 56 minutes into the match, Juarês Cordeiro dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Gernando Medeiros, 0-3. Samuel Cabral struck a weak shot in the 60th minute. Gernando Medeiros didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Cardozo. In the 62nd minute, David Madureira ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Renato Quirino was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-3. If Juarês Cordeiro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 71st match minute, Oimerguez FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Remo Chaves to maneuver through the defense. In the 75th minute, Juarês Cordeiro got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. A collision led to Oimerguez FC getting a freekick after 78 minutes play. Remo Chaves hit a great ball. Gernando Medeiros showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Juarês Cordeiro in the 81st minute of the match. Juarês Cordeiro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 83rd minute. Renato Quirino was left in no man's land by his defense there! Cardozo's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
