Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) 5 minutes into the match, Oimerguez FC's goal looked a bit too open when Cléber Paiva came free, but Gernando Medeiros reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Zé Paulo de Mendonça could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 7th minute of the match, but Marcelo Leite made a huge save. 13 minutes into the match, Zé Paulo de Mendonça dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Marcelo Leite, 1-0. After having played for 22 minutes, Cléber Paiva managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Razeirense B's supporters crossed their fingers, but Cléber Paiva was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Gernando Medeiros showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nicolas Barros, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. After 31 minutes, David Madureira mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Oimerguez FC and the Razeirense B players grew even worse after the yellow card. Cléber Paiva fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gernando Medeiros having to interfere. In the 37th match minute, Oimerguez FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Celsinho Arósio to maneuver through the defense. Luís Guilherme Rosa hit a great freekick 43 minutes into the match. Zé Paulo de Mendonça blasted a shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Marcelo Leite having to make a save. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when David Madureira made the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd minute of the match Oimerguez FC got a corner. Razeirense B's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Telmo Dias ran over to the corner to take the kick. A well done corner resulted in David de Salles drilling the ball in to score 2-1 behind Razeirense B's goalkeeper. After 57 played minutes Razeirense B got a freekick which was hit by Rodolfo Abreu. In the 59th minute, one of Razeirense B:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Razeirense B. Marcelo Leite went to the wrong direction when Telmo Dias was taking care of the penalty kick which however missed the goal. 64 minutes into the game, Patrick Dante was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Razeirense B's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Oimerguez FC the free kick. After a rather tough play, Razeirense B's Patrick Dante got a free kick in the 64th minute. In the 67th minute Celsinho Arósio suffered a thigh injury and had to be helped off the field. Luís Guilherme Rosa's late challenge caught a Oimerguez FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Luís Guilherme Rosa helped the player get up and apologised. Zé Paulo de Mendonça received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 70th minute. Marcelo Leite tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Razeirense B's Nicolas Barros got a good chance for a goal in the 72nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Gernando Medeiros showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Patrick Dante in the 81st minute of the match. With an all-out effort, Razeirense B's Gernando Medeiros threw himself towards the right post 89 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Cléber Paiva, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. After a defensive mix-up in Oimerguez FC's zone, Cléber Paiva stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gernando Medeiros came out of the goal and Cléber Paiva tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Nicolas Barros sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Cássio Goiano charged in rather forcefully in the 98th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Cássio Goiano the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In a very dangerous position, a player in Razeirense B fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 98th minute. Penalty! Razeirense B's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
