Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Zé Paulo Goiano made the kick off and thus started the match. When Nukengo SC's Márcio Neves in 9 game minutes managed to cut through with the ball in front of the goal, only having to shoot. Charles Pirani guarding the goal like a pit bull was extremely focused and managed to reach the ball just by the crossbar before it went in. The crowd rose to their feet as Márcio Neves kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Charles Pirani. That made the score 1-0 in the 11 minute of play. 19 minutes had been played when some careless play by Nukengo SC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Amauri Fontes was slow to take the kick. During this time Gomes's players had a chance to rest. After taking down the ball on Gomes's corner Amauri Fontes fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Douglas Bezerra quite easily take care of the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Márcio Neves during the 19th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Nukengo SC's Márcio Neves got a free kick in the 20th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Pedro Paulo Guedes in the 22nd minute of play forced Nukengo SC's goalkeeper Douglas Bezerra to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Sílvio Dante fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Charles Pirani having to interfere. If Márcio Neves had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After a defensive mix-up in Gomes's zone, Márcio Neves stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Charles Pirani came out of the goal and Márcio Neves tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Charles Pirani came out of the goal in the 36th minute to try and stop a shot by Nukengo SC's Sílvio Dante. But to his dismay, Sílvio Dante quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. When Nukengo SC's Márcio Neves in the 47th minute got a chance for a shot 47th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Gomes's goalie prevented a goal. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Márcio Neves was the one to do the kick off. In the 54th minute Zé Paulo Goiano shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Douglas Bezerra saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Charles Pirani showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Márcio Neves in the 55th minute of the match. After having played for 60 minutes, Márcio Neves managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Nukengo SC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Márcio Neves was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Toninho Gomes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 62nd minute. Charles Pirani tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Charles Pirani breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Gomes's Charles Pirani played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Márcio Neves in the 69th minute of play. After 71 minutes of play, Nukengo SC's Márcio Neves made it 4-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Charles Pirani was left in no man's land by his defense there! Charles Pirani took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sílvio Dante, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Márcio Neves in the 77th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Charles Pirani saved Gomes from getting behind. The audience was convinced that Márcio Neves's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Charles Pirani was relentless in the 79th minute of the game. 80 minutes into the match, Gomes's goal looked a bit too open when Sílvio Dante came free, but Charles Pirani reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 82ndth minute of the game Márcio Neves who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Gomes's Charles Pirani was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Gomes's zone, João Augusto Mello stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Charles Pirani came out of the goal and João Augusto Mello tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Márcio Neves in the 90th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Charles Pirani prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 93 minutes into the match, Gomes's goal looked a bit too open when Sílvio Dante came free, but Charles Pirani reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 94 minutes into the match, Nukengo SC's Márcio Neves sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Charles Pirani narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Nukengo SC's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
