Trinity's Ediberto Dias played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by David Madureira in the 16th minute of play. 27 minutes into the game, Zé Paulo de Mendonça was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Oimerguez FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Trinity the free kick. The supporters of Trinity booed when Oimerguez FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 27 match minutes in a wonderful position. Zé Paulo de Mendonça didn't get a good kick on the ball. Zé Paulo de Mendonça sent away a hard shot on goal in the 29th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Anderson de Medeiros was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 38th minute. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that David Madureira couldn't finish the play. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Anderson de Medeiros stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Anderson de Medeiros recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 56th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 60th minute of the match Baltazar Mendes shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Ediberto Dias showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. After a rather tough play, Oimerguez FC's Telmo Dias got a free kick in the 64th minute. Gernando Medeiros showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dino Palmeira in the 79th minute of the match. David Madureira received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 86th minute. Ediberto Dias tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ediberto Dias took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from David Madureira, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Alessandro Ortiz charged in rather forcefully in the 89th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down.
