Dráuzio Travassos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 5th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without José Pedro Mangueira having to interfere. Emerson Veiga showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jerônimo dos Santos, who was totally free with the ball in the 7th minute. César Carvalho received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 8th minute. José Pedro Mangueira tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 15th minute, Faustão Bertassi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When César Carvalho came up free with the goalie in the 18th minute, the Bentopolis fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that César Carvalho couldn't finish the play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dráuzio Travassos in the 19th minute of play forced Paulista FC's goalkeeper José Pedro Mangueira to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Faustão Bertassi kicked well hit freekick during the 20th minute of the match. José Pedro Mangueira made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from César Carvalho in the 22nd minute of play. José Pedro Mangueira showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dráuzio Travassos, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. Emerson Veiga showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jerônimo dos Santos in the 30th minute of the match. When Dráuzio Travassos came up free with the goalie in the 33rd minute, the Bentopolis fans jumped to their feet. In the 47th minute, Jerônimo dos Santos fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Emerson Veiga, passed just outside the right post. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The wind increased when Jerônimo dos Santos made the kick off in the second half. Paulista FC's José Pedro Mangueira proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 54th minute of the match, managed to save Paulista FC from getting a goal against them. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Dráuzio Travassos in the 56th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg José Pedro Mangueira saved Paulista FC from getting behind. 58 minutes into the game, Dráuzio Travassos recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of José Pedro Mangueira. Dráuzio Travassos showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-1. Dráuzio Travassos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 69th minute. José Pedro Mangueira tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Emerson Veiga came out of the goal in the 72nd minute to try and stop a shot by Paulista FC's Jerônimo dos Santos. But to his dismay, Jerônimo dos Santos quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. If Telmo Vergílio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 82ndth minute of the game Telmo Vergílio who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Bentopolis's Emerson Veiga was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 83rd minute, one of Bentopolis:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Bentopolis. When Paulista FC's Jerônimo dos Santos in the 88th minute got a chance for a shot 88th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Bentopolis's goalie prevented a goal. When Tiago Santana fell near the penalty area in the 92nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Paulista FC's protests and gave Tiago Santana a yellow card for diving instead. 91 minutes into the game, one of Paulista FC:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Paulista FC:s José Pedro Mangueira showed great skill when he stopped José Paulo Velasco:s penalty. After 95 minutes Paulista FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was José Paulo Velasco who took care of the corner kick. The goalkeeper smacked the ball away after a great corner, but Dráuzio Travassos advanced and headed the ball into goal, 2-2 in the 95th minute. César Carvalho received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 102nd minute. José Pedro Mangueira tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Bentopolis were disappointed that they only managed a draw, even though they felt themselves to be the better team.
