Spectators: 6973 (Terracing: 5423, Seating: 1500, VIP seats: 50) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Anderson de Medeiros started the match with the kick off. Douglas Bezerra made an important save on a dangerous shot by Alessandro Ortiz in the 5th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Márcio Neves in the 7th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ediberto Dias prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 8 minutes into the game, Ernesto Barral was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Trinity's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Nukengo SC the free kick. After a rather tough play, Trinity's Ernesto Barral got a free kick in the 8th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 10th minute, Márcio Neves managed to get in a good position for a shot. Nukengo SC's supporters rose to their feet, but Márcio Neves was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ediberto Dias breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Márcio Neves had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Trinity's Ediberto Dias played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Júnior de Castro in the 16th minute of play. Toninho Gomes hit a great freekick 17 minutes into the match. Alessandro Ortiz kicked well hit freekick during the 26th minute of the match. Márcio Neves received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. Ediberto Dias tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Samuca Esteves kicked well hit freekick during the 31st minute of the match. If Márcio Neves had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Márcio Neves struck a weak shot in the 38th minute. Ediberto Dias didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Nukengo SC. Nukengo SC's Magno Souza got a good chance for a goal in the 40th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Márcio Neves in the 41st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ediberto Dias saved Trinity from getting behind. Márcio Neves struck a weak shot in the 43rd minute. Ediberto Dias didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Nukengo SC. Erasmo Bueno charged in rather forcefully in the 45th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Erasmo Bueno the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 45th minute, Erasmo Bueno hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

Nukengo SC's Márcio Neves got a good chance for a goal in the 53rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Ediberto Dias made an important save on a dangerous shot by Márcio Neves in the 57th minute. Ediberto Dias took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Toninho Gomes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Márcio Neves received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 63rd minute. Ediberto Dias tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 64th minute Márcio Neves shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ediberto Dias saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After having played for 66 minutes, João Augusto Mello managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Nukengo SC's supporters crossed their fingers, but João Augusto Mello was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Valdemar Mello kicked well hit freekick during the 74th minute of the match. Gabriel Antunes, 75 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. When Nukengo SC's Márcio Neves in the 78th minute got a chance for a shot 78th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Trinity's goalie prevented a goal. Ediberto Dias breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 81 minutes into the game, Márcio Neves recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Ediberto Dias. Márcio Neves showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-2. Márcio Neves fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ediberto Dias having to interfere. Ediberto Dias made a fantastic save in the 89th minute, when Márcio Neves sent off a good shot on target. An unexpectedly hard shot by Márcio Neves in the 90th minute of play forced Trinity's goalkeeper Ediberto Dias to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Márcio Neves sent away a hard shot on goal in the 98th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the final whistle sounded Nukengo SC left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Trinity.
