During the 66th minute of the match Erasmo Bueno completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Erasmo Bueno a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. After 67 played minutes Trinity got a freekick which was hit by Erasmo Bueno. In the 70th minute, Sílvio Dante left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Nukengo SC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. In the 76th minute, Magno Souza got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Márcio Neves in the 80th minute of play forced Trinity's goalkeeper Ediberto Dias to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Chiquinho Negri sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
