Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Márcio Neves started the match with the kick off. In the 3rd minute Márcio Neves shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gernando Medeiros saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 4 minutes into the game, one of Oimerguez FC:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Nukengo SC's Douglas Bezerra played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by David Madureira in the 10th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Oimerguez FC's zone, Márcio Neves stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gernando Medeiros came out of the goal and Márcio Neves tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Gernando Medeiros made a fantastic save in the 16th minute, when Márcio Neves sent off a good shot on target. Márcio Neves recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 19th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 22 minutes, Márcio Neves made it 2-0 with a short kick to the right side. Oimerguez FC's Gernando Medeiros tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Márcio Neves struck a weak shot in the 25th minute. Gernando Medeiros didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Nukengo SC. When João Augusto Mello came up free with the goalie in the 27th minute, the Nukengo SC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that João Augusto Mello couldn't finish the play. Márcio Nevess short, quick shot in the 30thth minute got Gernando Medeiros to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. An unexpectedly hard shot by Toninho Gomes in the 31st minute of play forced Oimerguez FC's goalkeeper Gernando Medeiros to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 33 minutes into the game, Márcio Neves recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Gernando Medeiros. Márcio Neves showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 3-0. In the 37th minute Márcio Neves shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gernando Medeiros saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 38th minute, Magno Souza hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Márcio Neves struck a weak shot in the 41st minute. Gernando Medeiros didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Nukengo SC. David de Salles kicked well hit freekick during the 47th minute of the match. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for David Madureira to strike the kick off in the second half. After some careless play in the Oimerguez FC defense, Márcio Neves kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Gernando Medeiros. The Oimerguez FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Gernando Medeiros should have stopped the shot. Gernando Medeiros took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Márcio Neves, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Márcio Neves in the 63rd minute of play forced Oimerguez FC's goalkeeper Gernando Medeiros to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 67 minutes, Márcio Neves made it 5-0 with a short kick to the right side. Oimerguez FC's Gernando Medeiros tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Márcio Neves in the 72nd minute of play forced Oimerguez FC's goalkeeper Gernando Medeiros to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Márcio Neves sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Márcio Neves had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 82 minutes into the match, Oimerguez FC's goal looked a bit too open when Toninho Gomes came free, but Gernando Medeiros reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 83rd minute Márcio Neves shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gernando Medeiros saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Oimerguez FC getting a freekick after 84 minutes play. Remo Chaves hit a great ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Márcio Neves in the 85th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Gernando Medeiros prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Magno Souza hit a great freekick 90 minutes into the match. Chiquinho Negri kicked well hit freekick during the 92nd minute of the match. João Augusto Mello blasted a shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Gernando Medeiros having to make a save. Márcio Neves sent away a hard shot on goal in the 97th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
