It was beautiful to see Marmota F.C.'s Anselmo Mangueira in action when he in the 15th minute dribbled his way through a couple of opponents and the fired away a shot from almost standing still. First the ball seemed to get in, but turned out to be on the outside of the net. A great chance! Dé Rosado recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 24th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Pedrão Barros had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After 30 minutes of play, Marmota F.C.'s Dé Rosado made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Gerson Valadares was left in no man's land by his defense there! Pedrão Barros fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Flávio Queirós having to interfere. Váldson Mandrak fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gerson Valadares having to interfere. Aníbal Nascimento kicked well hit freekick during the 40th minute of the match. Dé Rosado sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Gerson Valadares showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Váldson Mandrak, who was totally free with the ball in the 45th minute. Célio Neiva's late challenge caught a Marmota F.C.'s player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Célio Neiva helped the player get up and apologised. Célio Neiva hit a great freekick 46 minutes into the match. In the 48th minute, Dé Rosado made a precise shot to the right of Gerson Valadares. Jacarecoara SS's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Dé Rosado to make the kick off. The audience was convinced that Pedrão Barros's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Flávio Queirós was relentless in the 55th minute of the game. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dé Rosado in the 56th minute of play forced Jacarecoara SS's goalkeeper Gerson Valadares to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Váldson Mandrak blasted a shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Gerson Valadares having to make a save. Gerson Valadares took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dé Rosado, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Rony Pimenta received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 75th minute. Flávio Queirós tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Aníbal Nascimento was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 79 minutes had been played. In the 82nd play minute Váldson Mandrak came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Gerson Valadares. 0-3. Dé Rosado fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gerson Valadares having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Dé Rosado in the 87th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Gerson Valadares saved Jacarecoara SS from getting behind. The Jacarecoara SS supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Marmota F.C.'s performance. The match ended with a win for Marmota F.C..
