After recieving a nice pass, morungaba FC's Gernando Teles tried to score from far away in the 5th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Gernando Teles during the 7th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Gernando Teles hit a great freekick 7 minutes into the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Narciso Nascimento in the 8th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Waldir Rosa saved morungaba FC from getting behind. 10 minutes into the match, Tomás da Mata dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Chiquinho Quadros, 1-0. After a rather tough play, morungaba FC's Luiz Eduardo Lucas got a free kick in the 13th minute. After 17 minutes, Luiz Eduardo Lucas mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the morungaba FC and the Savas EC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Luiz Eduardo Lucas hit a great freekick 17 minutes into the match. Tarcisio Pontes helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Savas EC booed when morungaba FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 34 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tarcisio Pontes didn't get a good kick on the ball. Lucas Batista's long shot made the audience stand up and applaude when it rumbled by Waldir Rosa on his right side and into the goal. 35 minutes into the game it was 1-2. Waldir Rosa was out of position in the 79 minute of play, and Marcelinho do Nascimento capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Marcelinho do Nascimento really showed his touch with that goal: 1-3. Luiz Eduardo Lucas's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Chiquinho Quadros read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 85th minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Tomás da Mata during the 86th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Tomás da Mata recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 89th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 92nd minute, Tomás da Mata got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal.
