Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Jânio Matos kicked off to start the match. With a little luck, United Foxes's Tales Teixeira got control of the ball when Rubens Neto tried to sneak it across the goal line. Simão Montenegro kicked well hit freekick during the 23rd minute of the match. Edmílson Leão might have been able to make a better finish in the 28th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Dário Aparecido. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Edmílson Leão ran back to his position shaking his head. With his leg Tales Teixeira managed to avoid a goal in the 29thth minute, when Jaraaua's Rubens Neto fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Rubens Neto blasted a shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Tales Teixeira having to make a save. After having played for 37 minutes, Rubens Neto managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Jaraaua's supporters crossed their fingers, but Rubens Neto was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Elói Cabral came up free with the goalie in the 39th minute, the Jaraaua fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Elói Cabral couldn't finish the play.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Elói Cabral to strike the kick off in the second half. Gualter Leal took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 54th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Tales Teixeira. United Foxes's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. In the 54th minute, João Francisco Ramos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The supporters of Jaraaua booed when United Foxes was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 57 match minutes in a wonderful position. João Francisco Ramos didn't get a good kick on the ball. United Foxes's Tales Teixeira played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rubens Neto in the 58th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in United Foxes's zone, Elói Cabral stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Tales Teixeira came out of the goal and Elói Cabral tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 64 minutes into the game, Ulisses Corrêa was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Jaraaua's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave United Foxes the free kick. In the 66th minute, Jânio Matos reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Dário Aparecido. The goal made the score 1-1. Elói Cabral received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 69th minute. Tales Teixeira tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Elói Cabral came up free with the goalie in the 73rd minute, the Jaraaua fans jumped to their feet. Rubens Neto recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 88th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Tales Teixeira took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Elói Cabral, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. United Foxes succeeded in salvaging a draw, even though Jaraaua had controlled the match.
