BNU FC's Willian de Salles proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 11th minute of the match, managed to save BNU FC from getting a goal against them. Willian de Salles made a fantastic save in the 13th minute, when Telmo Catarinense sent off a good shot on target. In the 14th of the match, Edu Aguiar tried to place the ball in the upper right corner, but Willian de Salles got in the way and made a wonderful save. 30 minutes into the match, Célio Coutinho notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Libertines's Guto Meirelles. Guto Meirelles was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Willian de Salles showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sebastião Dantas, who was totally free with the ball in the 35th minute. 37 minutes into the match, Libertines's goal looked a bit too open when Cléberson Souto came free, but Guto Meirelles reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Luís Fernando Schmidt received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 46th minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Nestor Vieira during the 88th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card.
