Umberto Teixeira showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Naldo Tavares in the 23rd minute of the match. Luiz Guilherme Prata fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Edgar Alagoano having to interfere. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Luiz Guilherme Prata to strike the kick off in the second half. After some fancy dribbling in the 53rd minute, Felippe Souto managed to get in a good position for a shot. Guaxima's supporters rose to their feet, but Felippe Souto was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Umberto Teixeira breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 55th minute, Naldo Tavares made a precise shot to the right of Umberto Teixeira. CORINTHIANS-BR's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. Umberto Teixeira came out of the goal in the 61st minute to try and stop a shot by Guaxima's Claudinho Veiga. But to his dismay, Claudinho Veiga quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. Naldo Tavares fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Umberto Teixeira having to interfere. Felippe Souto took the ball and in the 66 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Umberto Teixeira. Umberto Teixeira dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-0. If Naldo Tavares had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 72 played minutes CORINTHIANS-BR got a freekick which was hit by Mateus Seco. After having played for 74 minutes, Naldo Tavares managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Guaxima's supporters crossed their fingers, but Naldo Tavares was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Naldo Tavares struck a weak shot in the 76th minute. Umberto Teixeira didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Guaxima. Felippe Souto sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 79th minute, Felippe Souto got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Umberto Teixeira stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Naldo Tavares's shot from short distance in the 83rd minute. The audience was convinced that Naldo Tavares's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Umberto Teixeira was relentless in the 85th minute of the game. If Naldo Tavares had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Felippe Souto struck a weak shot in the 91st minute. Umberto Teixeira didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Guaxima.
