Spectators: 6403 (Terracing: 5403, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Wanderson Gonçalves took the kick off in the first half of the match. In the 3rd minute Adhemar Sampaio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Clemente Sena saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Clemente Alagoano blasted a shot towards the goal in the 5th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Yuri Maranhense having to make a save. In the 6th minute, Wanderson Gonçalves fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Yuri Maranhense, passed just outside the right post. Clemente Alagoano fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 8th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Yuri Maranhense having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Abadia's zone, Clemente Alagoano stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Yuri Maranhense came out of the goal and Clemente Alagoano tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Adalberto Messias fell near the penalty area in the 12th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Cornos .S.A's protests and gave Adalberto Messias a yellow card for diving instead. After 13 played minutes Cornos .S.A got a freekick which was hit by Adalberto Messias. Yuri Maranhense showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Wanderson Gonçalves in the 20th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 22nd minute, Clemente Alagoano managed to get in a good position for a shot. Cornos .S.A's supporters rose to their feet, but Clemente Alagoano was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Yuri Maranhense breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 24th minute, Wanderson Gonçalves fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Yuri Maranhense, passed just outside the right post. Abadia's Yuri Maranhense proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 26th minute of the match, managed to save Abadia from getting a goal against them. 27 minutes into the game, Sidney Nascimento was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Abadia's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Cornos .S.A the free kick. In the 27th minute, Sidney Nascimento hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Wanderson Gonçalves's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Yuri Maranhense read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 31st minute of play. If Clemente Alagoano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 34th minute, Wanderson Gonçalves managed to get in a good position for a shot. Cornos .S.A's supporters rose to their feet, but Wanderson Gonçalves was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Yuri Maranhense showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Wanderson Gonçalves, who was totally free with the ball in the 64th minute. Yuri Maranhense showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Wanderson Gonçalves in the 66th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Abadia's zone, Clemente Alagoano stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. In the 75th minute, Wanderson Gonçalves ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Yuri Maranhense was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. Gildo Félix sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Abadia's Yuri Maranhense played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gildo Félix in the 92nd minute of play. In the 94thth minute of the game Wanderson Gonçalves who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Abadia's Yuri Maranhense was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Cornos .S.A walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
