Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Osvaldinho Zanette got the match started through his kick off. Osvaldinho Zanette struck a weak shot in the 4th minute. Marcelinho Furtado didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Rmac F.C.. Osvaldinho Zanette fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 6th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marcelinho Furtado having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Osvaldinho Zanette in the 8th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Marcelinho Furtado prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Claudinho Netto sent away a hard shot on goal in the 15th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. New los Angeles's Celsinho Matos got a good chance for a goal in the 16th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The supporters of New los Angeles booed when Rmac F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 20 match minutes in a wonderful position. Paulão Coelho didn't get a good kick on the ball. Serafim Britto hit a great freekick 22 minutes into the match. Marcelinho Furtado came out of the goal in the 25th minute to try and stop a shot by Rmac F.C.'s Osvaldinho Zanette. But to his dismay, Osvaldinho Zanette quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. After having played for 36 minutes, Osvaldinho Zanette managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Rmac F.C.'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Osvaldinho Zanette was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Eliézer de Toledo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Claudinho Netto in the 39th minute of the match. In the 42nd minute, Paulão Coelho hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Celsinho Matos took the ball and in the 44 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Eliézer de Toledo. Eliézer de Toledo dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. After a defensive mix-up in New los Angeles's zone, Osvaldinho Zanette stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Marcelinho Furtado came out of the goal and Osvaldinho Zanette tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The wind increased when Claudinho Netto made the kick off in the second half. Celsinho Matos's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Eliézer de Toledo read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 53rd minute of play. Marcelinho Furtado made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ricardo Custódio in the 59th minute. 65 minutes into the match, New los Angeles's goalkeeper Marcelinho Furtado had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ricardo Custódio. Diego Sergipano kicked well hit freekick during the 66th minute of the match. Eliézer de Toledo stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Celsinho Matos's shot from short distance in the 69th minute. A collision led to Rmac F.C. getting a freekick after 69 minutes play. Zé Paulo Bueno hit a great ball. 73 minutes into the match, Celsinho Matos had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Eliézer de Toledo. Rmac F.C.'s manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Celsinho Matos was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-2. Eliézer de Toledo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Claudinho Netto in the 76th minute of play. Marcelinho Furtado made a fantastic save in the 79th minute, when Ricardo Custódio sent off a good shot on target. After 79 played minutes New los Angeles got a freekick which was hit by Diego Sergipano. Ricardo Custódio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marcelinho Furtado having to interfere. Claudinho Netto fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eliézer de Toledo having to interfere. In the 86th match minute, Rmac F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Paulão Coelho to maneuver through the defense. Claudinho Netto sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some careless play in the Rmac F.C. defense, Claudinho Netto kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Eliézer de Toledo. The Rmac F.C. fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Eliézer de Toledo should have stopped the shot. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ricardo Custódio got free with Marcelinho Furtado in the 96th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The New los Angeles fans cheered their team off the field, for while Rmac F.C. had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
