After a defensive mix-up in Abadia's zone, Olavo Araújo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Yuri Maranhense came out of the goal and Olavo Araújo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Hermínio Nascimento had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Wágner Vergílio fell near the penalty area in the 23rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Abadia's protests and gave Wágner Vergílio a yellow card for diving instead. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Sidnei Seco made a kick off. The supporters of Abadia booed when PRATTI FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 55 match minutes in a wonderful position. Olavo Araújo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Maicon Brasil showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sidnei Seco, who was totally free with the ball in the 56th minute. Hermínio Nascimento blasted a shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Yuri Maranhense having to make a save. If Hermínio Nascimento had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After 68 played minutes Abadia got a freekick which was hit by Daniel Donatello. PRATTI FC's Luís Gustavo Damião couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 69th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Abadia. PRATTI FC's Olavo Araújo got his second yellow card of the match in the 71st minute. The referee ordered Olavo Araújo off the ground. Maicon Brasil made a fantastic save in the 74th minute, when Sérgio de Salles sent off a good shot on target. Maicon Brasil made an important save on a dangerous shot by Sérgio de Salles in the 82nd minute. Sidnei Seco recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 83rd minute. Sidnei Seco received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 93rd minute. Maicon Brasil tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Adhemar Sampaio kicked well hit freekick during the 96th minute of the match.
