Abadia's Yuri Maranhense played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Franklin de Castro in the 12th minute of play. In the 14th minute, Benjamin Guimarães made a precise shot to the right of Yuri Maranhense. Abadia's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. Yuri Maranhense made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Franklin de Castro in the 19th minute of play. The referee felt a red card was in order, 22 minutes into the game, when Adhemar Sampaio put in a rough tackle. Benjamin Guimarães took the ball and in the 27 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Yuri Maranhense. Yuri Maranhense dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-4. Sidnei Seco scored 1-4 in the 30th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Rafal Zaworski, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 38th minute, Silvinho Sena made a precise shot to the right of Yuri Maranhense. Abadia's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-5. Sérgio de Salles's late challenge caught a Intas's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Sérgio de Salles helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Abadia getting a freekick after 41 minutes play. Sérgio de Salles hit a great ball. 47 minutes into the match, Abadia's goal looked a bit too open when Franklin de Castro came free, but Yuri Maranhense reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Disappointed in the 1-5 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Benjamin Guimarães made a kick off. If Benjamin Guimarães had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 51st minute. Yuri Maranhense showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Franklin de Castro, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute. Yuri Maranhense took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Silvinho Sena, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Sérgio de Salles sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 60 minutes into the match, Abadia's goalkeeper Yuri Maranhense had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Benjamin Guimarães. Yuri Maranhense showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Silvinho Sena in the 61st minute of the match. With a little luck, Abadia's Yuri Maranhense got control of the ball when Benjamin Guimarães tried to sneak it across the goal line. Yuri Maranhense breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 74 played minutes Intas got a freekick which was hit by Silvinho Sena. Abadia's Yuri Maranhense proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 76th minute of the match, managed to save Abadia from getting a goal against them. After a rather tough play, Abadia's Sérgio de Salles got a free kick in the 79th minute. Yuri Maranhense made a fantastic save in the 80th minute, when Benjamin Guimarães sent off a good shot on target. 86 minutes into the match, Abadia's goalkeeper Yuri Maranhense had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Benjamin Guimarães. Sidnei Seco's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Rafal Zaworski read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 88th minute of play. With an all-out effort, Intas's Yuri Maranhense threw himself towards the right post 91 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Franklin de Castro, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. 95 minutes into the match, Intas's Benjamin Guimarães sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Yuri Maranhense narrowly saved just below the crossbar.
