Tropa Elite's supporters rose to their feet, but Wilton Mazza was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Frederico Cabral breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Wilton Mazza to strike the kick off in the second half. Wilton Mazza was extremely unlucky when he, in the 52nd minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. After 53 played minutes Golden Warriors got a freekick which was hit by Luís Fernando Trancoso.
