All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

After a defensive mix-up in Tropa Elite's zone, Benjamin Guimarães stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Joel Souto came out of the goal and Benjamin Guimarães tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Silvinho Sena had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Joel Souto showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Benjamin Guimarães, who was totally free with the ball in the 60th minute. After 74 minutes of play, Intas's Vicente Seco made it 6-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Joel Souto was left in no man's land by his defense there! Silvinho Sena blasted a shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Joel Souto having to make a save. 80 minutes into the game, Franklin de Castro cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 7-0. Joel Souto was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Joel Souto came out of the goal in the 83rd minute to try and stop a shot by Intas's Fernandinho Soeiro. But to his dismay, Fernandinho Soeiro quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 8-0. Norberto Carneiro hit a great freekick 91 minutes into the match. Joel Souto showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Franklin de Castro in the 94th minute of the match. Intas's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
