The attack was good, but when Ricardo Custódio in the 15th minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. Yuri Maranhense made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Osvaldinho Zanette in the 24th minute of play. Sidnei Seco fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eliézer de Toledo having to interfere. Ricardo Custódio in the 38thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Yuri Maranhense, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. After some fancy dribbling in the 40th minute, Osvaldinho Zanette managed to get in a good position for a shot. Rmac F.C.'s supporters rose to their feet, but Osvaldinho Zanette was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Yuri Maranhense breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a defensive mix-up in Abadia's zone, Osvaldinho Zanette stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Yuri Maranhense came out of the goal and Osvaldinho Zanette tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. A collision led to Abadia getting a freekick after 45 minutes play. Sidney Nascimento hit a great ball. In the 48th minute, Osvaldinho Zanette got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Sidnei Seco to make the kick off. Eliézer de Toledo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sidnei Seco in the 53rd minute of the match. João Augusto Lira kicked well hit freekick during the 55th minute of the match. After 56 played minutes, Abadia's Daniel Donatello shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Eliézer de Toledo came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Abadia reached it. Sidnei Seco recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 63rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a rather tough play, Abadia's Sidney Nascimento got a free kick in the 69th minute. If Osvaldinho Zanette had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Osvaldinho Zanette sent away a hard shot on goal in the 78th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Eliézer de Toledo made an important save on a dangerous shot by Sérgio de Salles in the 81st minute. Abadia's Yuri Maranhense played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ricardo Custódio in the 86th minute of play. Yuri Maranhense showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ricardo Custódio in the 91st minute of the match. Sérgio de Salles sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
