Filipe Mendes helped the player get up and apologised. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 9th minute of the game. One of New los Angeles:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Rmac F.C.:s goal. In the 11th minute, the referee gave Rmac F.C. a penalty. Alexsandro Corrêa looked confident and blasted the ball into goal by the left post, totally unstoppable for Marcelinho Furtado. 16 minutes into the match, Rmac F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Claudinho Netto came free, but Eliézer de Toledo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Paulão Coelho kicked well hit freekick during the 19th minute of the match. After 20 played minutes Rmac F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Ediberto Freitas. In the 21st minute, Víktor Souza sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Rmac F.C.'s Eliézer de Toledo didn't even have to move. Eliézer de Toledo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Claudinho Netto, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 25 minutes into the match, Rmac F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Claudinho Netto came free, but Eliézer de Toledo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to New los Angeles getting a freekick after 25 minutes play. Filipe Mendes hit a great ball. Claudinho Netto might have been able to make a better finish in the 37th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Eliézer de Toledo. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Claudinho Netto ran back to his position shaking his head. Celsinho Matos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ricardo Custódio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 43rd minute. Marcelinho Furtado tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Claudinho Netto sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Osvaldinho Zanette made a kick off. The crowd rose to their feet as New los Angeles's Luisinho Ferraz slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Eliézer de Toledo. That made the score 1-1 after 51 minutes of play. In the 56th minute, Claudinho Netto got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Ediberto Freitas hit a great freekick 57 minutes into the match. Rmac F.C.'s Eliézer de Toledo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 60th minute of the match, managed to save Rmac F.C. from getting a goal against them. If Claudinho Netto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 67 minutes into the match, Rmac F.C.'s goalkeeper Eliézer de Toledo had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Celsinho Matos. Rmac F.C.'s Eliézer de Toledo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Claudinho Netto in the 70th minute of play. Ricardo Custódio kicked well hit freekick during the 73rd minute of the match. With a little luck, Rmac F.C.'s Eliézer de Toledo got control of the ball when Celsinho Matos tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 75 played minutes Rmac F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Paulão Coelho. Through an outstanding action, after 76 minutes, Eliézer de Toledo successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. After having played for 78 minutes, Celsinho Matos managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. New los Angeles's supporters crossed their fingers, but Celsinho Matos was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Celsinho Matos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Marcelinho Furtado stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ricardo Custódio's shot from short distance in the 84th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Claudinho Netto in the 96th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Eliézer de Toledo prevented the ball from getting in the gole.
