Betinho Freitas took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 27th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Márcio Dionísio. Sport Club Z15's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. When Romário Medeiros came up free with the goalie in the 58th minute, the Sport Club Z15 fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Romário Medeiros couldn't finish the play. After 66 minutes of play, Sport Club Z15's Zézinho Lucas made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Albertinho Quirino was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 70thth minute of the game Percy Bittencourt who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Gladiadores Futebol Clube's Albertinho Quirino was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Germano Pitta kicked well hit freekick during the 71st minute of the match. With a little luck, Sport Club Z15's Márcio Dionísio got control of the ball when Alexsandro Ortiz tried to sneak it across the goal line. 81 minutes into the game, Duda Vasconcelos was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Gladiadores Futebol Clube's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Sport Club Z15 the free kick. The supporters of Sport Club Z15 booed when Gladiadores Futebol Clube was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 81 match minutes in a wonderful position. Duda Vasconcelos didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 82nd minute, Robinho Saldanha managed to get in a good position for a shot. Sport Club Z15's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
