Albertinho Quirino was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Bernardo Mendebal showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-2 in the 71 minute of play. Alexsandro Ortiz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Emanuel de Queirós having to interfere. Matuapira FutBol Club's Hasret Arkan got a good chance for a goal in the 83rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 87 minutes into the match, Gladiadores Futebol Clube's goalkeeper Albertinho Quirino had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Juan Mesquita. In the 93rd minute, Danilo Araújo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Téo da Cunha fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Albertinho Quirino having to interfere.
