The Máfia do Ovo FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Kaká Nogueira should have stopped the shot. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-5.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Cipriano Ortiz to strike the kick off in the second half. Zeca de Castro kicked well hit freekick during the 61st minute of the match. In the 69th minute, Zeca de Castro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Rafael Botelho fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kaká Nogueira having to interfere. Kaká Nogueira showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dráusio Paranaense, who was totally free with the ball in the 91st minute. 93 minutes into the match, Máfia do Ovo FC's goal looked a bit too open when Germano Pitta came free, but Kaká Nogueira reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Kaká Nogueira made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rafael Botelho in the 95th minute of play. When the match was over Gladiadores Futebol Clube could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Máfia do Ovo FC throughout the match.
