Spectators: 5275 (Terracing: 4075, Seating: 1075, VIP seats: 125) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Zé Roberto Amorim took the kick off in the first half of the match. Dino Bezerra hit a great freekick 2 minutes into the match. After 5 played minutes Inova FC got a freekick which was hit by Claudinei Terra. The audience held their breath when Wesley Paraense in the 6th minute of the game managed to trick the opponents defenses and fired away a shot outside the goal on the Juninho Gaspar's left hand side. After 13 minutes, Zé Roberto Amorim made it 0-1 with a short kick to the right side. Inova FC's Juninho Gaspar tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. If Zé Roberto Amorim had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Juninho Gaspar showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gildo Sergipano in the 18th minute of the match. Gildo Sergipano recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 20th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The supporters of Rato F.C. booed when Inova FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 22 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lucas Esteves didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Zé Roberto Amorim in the 29th minute of play forced Inova FC's goalkeeper Juninho Gaspar to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Zé Roberto Amorim received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 32nd minute. Juninho Gaspar tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to Rato F.C. getting a freekick after 38 minutes play. Raúl Bueno hit a great ball. When Dino Bezerra came up free with the goalie in the 40th minute, the Inova FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Dino Bezerra couldn't finish the play. Alberto Oliveira recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 43rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Raphael de Sousa charged in rather forcefully in the 45th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Raphael de Sousa the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. 48 minutes into the match, Rato F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Alberto Oliveira came free, but Franklin Zonta reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

In the 53rd minute Lucas Esteves shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Franklin Zonta saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 54 played minutes Inova FC got a freekick which was hit by Dino Bezerra. Zé Roberto Amorim received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 57th minute. Juninho Gaspar tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 59 played minutes Inova FC got a freekick which was hit by Claudinei Terra. Gildo Sergipano sent away a hard shot on goal in the 62nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Raphael de Sousa hit a great freekick 70 minutes into the match. Lauro Martins kicked well hit freekick during the 77th minute of the match. When the match had gone on for 84 minutes, Alberto Oliveira put it in 1-2 from a short distance just to the right of Franklin Zonta. After some careless play in the Inova FC defense, Gildo Sergipano kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Juninho Gaspar. The Inova FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Juninho Gaspar should have stopped the shot. Franklin Zonta took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alberto Oliveira, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Rato F.C.'s players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
