With a little luck, Nightmare FC's Naldo Figueiredo got control of the ball when Hudson Saldanha tried to sneak it across the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Hudson Saldanha in the 30th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Naldo Figueiredo saved Nightmare FC from getting behind. When the match clock showed 30 minutes, the score became 2-0 when Hudson Saldanha sped through Nightmare FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Naldo Figueiredo. The crowd rose to their feet as Hudson Saldanha kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Naldo Figueiredo. That made the score 3-0 in the 33 minute of play. 40 minutes into the match, Nightmare FC's goal looked a bit too open when Hudson Saldanha came free, but Naldo Figueiredo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Hudson Saldanha fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Naldo Figueiredo having to interfere. Naldo Figueiredo was out of position in the 44 minute of play, and Hudson Saldanha capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Hudson Saldanha really showed his touch with that goal: 4-0. Teodoro Alagoano sent away a hard shot on goal in the 48th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 4-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Giovani de Azevedo to strike the kick off in the second half. Teodoro Alagoano took the ball and in the 53 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Naldo Figueiredo. Naldo Figueiredo dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 5-0. Team Piracanjuba's Gabriel Garcia got a good chance for a goal in the 56th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Hudson Saldanha in the 59th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Naldo Figueiredo prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 61st minute Teodoro Alagoano shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Naldo Figueiredo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Naldo Figueiredo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Teodoro Alagoano, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Fernandinho Reis received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 67th minute. Naldo Figueiredo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In a very dangerous position, a player in Nightmare FC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 69th minute. Penalty! Naldo Figueiredo was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 76 minutes into the match, Gabriel Garcia had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Naldo Figueiredo. Nightmare FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Gabriel Garcia was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 7-0. Team Piracanjuba's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
