After having played for 18 minutes, Luiz Fábio Loyola managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Araborladit SC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Luiz Fábio Loyola was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Luiz Fábio Loyola's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 21stth minute, Fernandão Amorim skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Wiliam Zanette received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 22nd minute. Fernandão Amorim tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Wiliam Zanette recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 26th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Luiz Fábio Loyola had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Paulão Arósio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Pedrão Schmidt, who was totally free with the ball in the 32nd minute. Luiz Fábio Loyola blasted a shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Fernandão Amorim having to make a save. Paulão Arósio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Pedrão Schmidt, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 43rd minute, Wiliam Zanette hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Simão Ramos was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 46 minutes into the match. In the 45th minute, one of Araborladit SC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Araborladit SC. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

With a couple of smart ball manuevers Luiz Fábio Loyola in the 54th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Fernandão Amorim saved Gatinho EC from getting behind. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Luiz Fábio Loyola in the 57th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Fernandão Amorim prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Anderson Toscano sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. With a little luck, Araborladit SC's Paulão Arósio got control of the ball when Pedrão Schmidt tried to sneak it across the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Gatinho EC's zone, Luiz Fábio Loyola stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Fernandão Amorim came out of the goal and Luiz Fábio Loyola tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Paulão Arósio didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Pedrão Schmidt went, in the 74th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score. If Luiz Fábio Loyola had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
