Sidnei Hoffmann didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Ricardo Paiva went, in the 37th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. In the 40thth minute of the game Renatinho Travassos who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Aldeinha's Benjamim Vaz was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 44 minutes, Jarbas da Mata mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Aldeinha and the Arumandupa players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 44th match minute, Aldeinha was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jarbas da Mata to maneuver through the defense. A collision led to Arumandupa getting a freekick after 47 minutes play. Renatinho Travassos hit a great ball. Ricardo Paiva sent away a hard shot on goal in the 48th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Renatinho Travassos to make the kick off. During the 64th minute of the match Nestor do Valle completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Nestor do Valle a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. In the 65th minute, Nestor do Valle hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Renatinho Travassos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Benjamim Vaz having to interfere. 77 minutes into the game, Ricardo Paiva recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Sidnei Hoffmann. Ricardo Paiva showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-2. If Cláudio Mangueira had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 87th minute, Renatinho Travassos made a precise shot to the right of Benjamim Vaz. Aldeinha's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-2. The supporters of Aldeinha booed when Arumandupa was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 90 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sérgio de Azevedo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Sidnei Hoffmann didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Ricardo Paiva went, in the 92nd minute, to the upper right corner, 1-3 was the resulting score. Renatinho Travassos struck a weak shot in the 96th minute. Benjamim Vaz didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Arumandupa. Although Arumandupa had been in control for most of the match, Aldeinha still came away with the win.
