Aldeinha
Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Ricardo Paiva kicked off to start the match. Aldeinha's Benjamim Vaz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Giovani de Azevedo in the 6th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Aldeinha's Jean Lara got a free kick in the 8th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Eurico Mello in the 11th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Benjamim Vaz saved Aldeinha from getting behind. After 19 minutes, Eurico Mello mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Nightmare FC and the Aldeinha players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 19 played minutes Nightmare FC got a freekick which was hit by Eurico Mello. Benjamim Vaz didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Eurico Mello went, in the 22nd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Paulo José Gomes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 27th minute. Naldo Figueiredo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 28 minutes into the match, Aldeinha's Paulo José Gomes sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Naldo Figueiredo narrowly saved just below the crossbar. If Paulo José Gomes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Germano Teles hit a great freekick 35 minutes into the match. 40 minutes into the game, Ricardo Paiva recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Naldo Figueiredo. Ricardo Paiva showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-1. After 43 played minutes Aldeinha got a freekick which was hit by Jarbas da Mata. In the 45th minute Eurico Mello shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Benjamim Vaz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 46th minute, Eurico Mello managed to get in a good position for a shot. Nightmare FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Eurico Mello was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Benjamim Vaz breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 48th minute Giovani de Azevedo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Benjamim Vaz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Naldo Figueiredo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jarbas da Mata, who was totally free with the ball in the 54th minute. In the 57th minute, Ricardo Paiva left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Aldeinha fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. In the 61st minute, Tomé de Queiroz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Claudinei Moura was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 62nd played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Germano Teles fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Benjamim Vaz having to interfere. The supporters of Aldeinha booed when Nightmare FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 70 match minutes in a wonderful position. Waldir de Castro didn't get a good kick on the ball. Naldo Figueiredo stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Paulo José Gomes's shot from short distance in the 74th minute. Eurico Mello received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 76th minute. Benjamim Vaz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 79th minute Giovani de Azevedo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Benjamim Vaz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Paulo José Gomes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 83rd minute. Naldo Figueiredo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. During the 92nd minute of the match Jean Lara completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Jean Lara a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. In the 93rd minute, Jean Lara hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Giovani de Azevedo in the 98th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Benjamim Vaz prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Aldeinha's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
