Team Piracanjuba's Ernesto Vieira got a good chance for a goal in the 9th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Wiliam Zanette kicked well hit freekick during the 13th minute of the match. In the 15th match minute, Team Piracanjuba was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ernesto Vieira to maneuver through the defense. Teodoro Alagoano struck a weak shot in the 17th minute. Paulão Arósio didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Team Piracanjuba. 19 minutes into the game, Team Piracanjuba's Hudson Saldanha nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Paulão Arósio made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. Luiz Fábio Loyola recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 48th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Hudson Saldanha stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute, Hudson Saldanha ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Paulão Arósio was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. Anderson Toscano sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Gabriel Garcia came up free with the goalie in the 62nd minute, the Team Piracanjuba fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gabriel Garcia couldn't finish the play. 63 minutes into the match, Araborladit SC's goal looked a bit too open when Hudson Saldanha came free, but Paulão Arósio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Paulão Arósio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hudson Saldanha in the 64th minute of the match. After 64 played minutes Araborladit SC got a freekick which was hit by Wiliam Zanette. Luiz Fábio Loyolas short, quick shot in the 67thth minute got Durval Madureira to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Paulão Arósio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Teodoro Alagoano, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Wiliam Zanette fell near the penalty area in the 72nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Araborladit SC's protests and gave Wiliam Zanette a yellow card for diving instead. In the 72nd match minute, Araborladit SC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Wiliam Zanette to maneuver through the defense. 74 minutes into the match, Hudson Saldanha had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Paulão Arósio. Araborladit SC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Hudson Saldanha was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-0. In the 77th minute the ball was on its way in behind Araborladit SC's goalkeeper Paulão Arósio, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Araborladit SC's Paulão Arósio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hudson Saldanha in the 78th minute of play. 86 minutes into the game, Hudson Saldanha cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 5-0. Paulão Arósio was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After some fancy dribbling in the 88th minute, Fernandinho Reis managed to get in a good position for a shot. Team Piracanjuba's supporters rose to their feet, but Fernandinho Reis was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Paulão Arósio breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Paulão Arósio stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Teodoro Alagoano's shot from short distance in the 91st minute. 92 minutes into the match, Araborladit SC's goal looked a bit too open when Hudson Saldanha came free, but Paulão Arósio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 94 played minutes Team Piracanjuba got a freekick which was hit by Albertinho Terra. For all the effort they put into the match, the Araborladit SC players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Team Piracanjuba.
