The supporters of Arumandupa booed when Perobal was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 12 match minutes in a wonderful position. Giovanni Soeiro didn't get a good kick on the ball. Cláudio Mangueira kicked well hit freekick during the 44th minute of the match. 47 minutes into the match, Arumandupa's goal looked a bit too open when Ronaldo Gaúcho came free, but Sidnei Hoffmann reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After the first half Perobal were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The wind increased when Ronaldo Gaúcho made the kick off in the second half. Ronaldo Gaúcho in the 53rdth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Sidnei Hoffmann, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Ronaldo Gaúcho could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 70th minute of the match, but Sidnei Hoffmann made a huge save. After a rather tough play, Arumandupa's Serginho de Medeiros got a free kick in the 71st minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ronaldo Gaúcho in the 74th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Sidnei Hoffmann saved Arumandupa from getting behind. Nestor do Valle kicked well hit freekick during the 77th minute of the match. After having played for 78 minutes, Giovanni Soeiro managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Perobal's supporters crossed their fingers, but Giovanni Soeiro was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Giovanni Soeiro came up free with the goalie in the 83rd minute, the Perobal fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Giovanni Soeiro couldn't finish the play. After a rather tough play, Arumandupa's Nestor do Valle got a free kick in the 86th minute. Sidnei Hoffmann took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ronaldo Gaúcho, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Perobal's Alexandre Pitta shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 93rd minute of play. The shot was stopped by Sidnei Hoffmann but with some difficulty. When Perobal's Ronaldo Gaúcho in the 94th minute got a chance for a shot 94th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Arumandupa's goalie prevented a goal. Perobal played a much better game than Arumandupa and deserved their victory. The Arumandupa players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
