Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Abelardo Marques came out of the goal in the 5th minute to try and stop a shot by Poolzão FC's Fiori Figueiredo. But to his dismay, Fiori Figueiredo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Michel Azevedo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Vivaldo Simão, who was totally free with the ball in the 11th minute. In the 14th minute, Fiori Figueiredo made a precise shot to the right of Abelardo Marques. Itahy's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. Abelardo Marques made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Germano Bertassi in the 18th minute of play. In the 19th match minute, Poolzão FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bernardinho Seco to maneuver through the defense. 20 minutes into the match, Itahy's Nelson Secco broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Itahy's Vivaldo Simão got a good chance for a goal in the 22nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Poolzão FC's Michel Azevedo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 27th minute of the match, managed to save Poolzão FC from getting a goal against them. In the 29th minute, Ernesto Tasso hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 30th minute of the match Nelson Secco sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Michel Azevedo skillfully saved the ball. When the match had gone on for 31 minutes, Vivaldo Simão put it in 1-2 from a short distance just to the right of Michel Azevedo. Abelardo Marques took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Germano Bertassi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Itahy's Abelardo Marques played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Germano Bertassi in the 38th minute of play. Vivaldo Simão received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 41st minute. Michel Azevedo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Germano Bertassi in the 45th minute of play forced Itahy's goalkeeper Abelardo Marques to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Fiori Figueiredo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-2 lead.

Michel Azevedo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ruy Barros in the 56th minute of the match. With a little luck, Itahy's Abelardo Marques got control of the ball when Germano Bertassi tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 62nd minute, Waldir Paraense hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Bernardinho Seco took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 63rd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Abelardo Marques. Itahy's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Germano Bertassi scored 1-3 in the 65th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Abelardo Marques, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 70th minute, Poolzão FC's Fiori Figueiredo dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-4. Ruy Barros struck a weak shot in the 73rd minute. Michel Azevedo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Itahy. After some fancy dribbling in the 80th minute, Fiori Figueiredo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Poolzão FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Fiori Figueiredo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Abelardo Marques breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Vivaldo Simão fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Michel Azevedo having to interfere. After 92 played minutes Fiori Figueiredo rounded Itahy's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 1-5. Poolzão FC's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
