Spectators: 7218 (Terracing: 5415, Seating: 1660, VIP seats: 143) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Fiori Figueiredo kicked off to start the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Victor Recife in the 5th minute of play forced Poolzão FC's goalkeeper Michel Azevedo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Domenico Patout didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 6th minute, which inside left pole to 1-0. 16 minutes into the match, FCSB São Bernado SP's Edvaldo Simão sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Michel Azevedo narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 18th minute, Ernesto Tasso managed to get in a good position for a shot. Poolzão FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Ernesto Tasso was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Domenico Patout breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 27th minute Edvaldo Simão shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Michel Azevedo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Edvaldo Simão received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 29th minute. Michel Azevedo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Victor Recife fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Michel Azevedo having to interfere. 32 minutes into the game, Edvaldo Simão cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-2. Michel Azevedo was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Victor Recife fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Michel Azevedo having to interfere. Edson da Mata kicked well hit freekick during the 43rd minute of the match. After having played for 44 minutes, Victor Recife managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FCSB São Bernado SP's supporters crossed their fingers, but Victor Recife was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Poolzão FC's Michel Azevedo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Victor Recife in the 46th minute of play. Victor Recife fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 48th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Michel Azevedo having to interfere. After the first half FCSB São Bernado SP were leading 1-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Edvaldo Simão was the one to do the kick off. Domenico Patout showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fiori Figueiredo, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute. After having played for 58 minutes, Germano Bertassi managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Poolzão FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Germano Bertassi was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Victor Recife had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 66 minutes, Germano Bertassi managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Poolzão FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Germano Bertassi was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. A collision led to FCSB São Bernado SP getting a freekick after 66 minutes play. Rômulo Montenegro hit a great ball. The Poolzão FC fans' excitement grew in the 69th match minute when Poolzão FC's Germano Bertassi looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-3 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. When the match had gone on for 74 minutes, Edvaldo Simão took a quick shot and it went in 2-4 without a chance for Michel Azevedo to make any attempt to save it. If Edvaldo Simão had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 80th match minute, Poolzão FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Edson da Mata to maneuver through the defense. After 83 minutes Poolzão FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Gabriel de Almeida who took care of the corner kick. The corner led FCSB São Bernado SP's Gabriel de Almeida to fire away a dangerous shot which Michel Azevedo despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Victor Recife received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 85th minute. Michel Azevedo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to Poolzão FC getting a freekick after 86 minutes play. Edson da Mata hit a great ball. Edvaldo Simão recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 88th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Michel Azevedo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Victor Recife, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 90th minute Fiori Figueiredo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Domenico Patout saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Michel Azevedo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edvaldo Simão in the 92nd minute of play. Victor Recife's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 95thth minute, Michel Azevedo skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Michel Azevedo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Edvaldo Simão, who was totally free with the ball in the 96th minute. The FCSB São Bernado SP players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
