When Nightmare FC's Giovani de Azevedo in the 17th minute got a chance for a shot 17th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Arumandupa's goalie prevented a goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Giovani de Azevedo in the 22nd minute of play forced Arumandupa's goalkeeper Sidnei Hoffmann to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 26th minute Giovani de Azevedo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sidnei Hoffmann saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Eurico Mello sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 34th match minute, Arumandupa was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nestor do Valle to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in Nightmare FC's zone, Nestor do Valle stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Naldo Figueiredo came out of the goal and Nestor do Valle tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 40 minutes into the match, Nightmare FC's goal looked a bit too open when Renatinho Travassos came free, but Naldo Figueiredo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Arumandupa booed when Nightmare FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 43 match minutes in a wonderful position. Waldir de Castro didn't get a good kick on the ball.

In the 54th match minute, Arumandupa was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Renatinho Travassos to maneuver through the defense. Claudinei Moura was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 55th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. After having played for 57 minutes, Nestor do Valle managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Arumandupa's supporters crossed their fingers, but Nestor do Valle was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Nestor do Valle received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 60th minute. Naldo Figueiredo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Renatinho Travassos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 62nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Nestor do Valle fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Naldo Figueiredo having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 66th minute, Nestor do Valle managed to get in a good position for a shot. Arumandupa's supporters rose to their feet, but Nestor do Valle was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Naldo Figueiredo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Nestor do Valle had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Renatinho Travassos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Naldo Figueiredo having to interfere. Nestor do Valle blasted a shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Naldo Figueiredo having to make a save. When Nestor do Valle came up free with the goalie in the 81st minute, the Arumandupa fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Nestor do Valle couldn't finish the play. Eurico Mello sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Giovani de Azevedo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. If Renatinho Travassos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead.
