Rafa Marinho showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ricardinho Tróia in the 16th minute of the match. If Luan Perez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 20 minutes, Ricardinho Tróia managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Adidas Ec's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ricardinho Tróia was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 21 played minutes Cotinguiba AD got a freekick which was hit by Sandrinho Silva. Rafa Marinho made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ricardinho Tróia in the 23rd minute of play. Rafa Marinho showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luan Perez in the 24th minute of the match. Baltazar Linhares sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Aloísio Perez recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 28th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Rafa Marinho showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luan Perez in the 29th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ricardinho Tróia in the 38th minute of play forced Cotinguiba AD's goalkeeper Rafa Marinho to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 45 minutes of play, Adidas Ec's Baltazar Linhares made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Rafa Marinho was left in no man's land by his defense there! After the first half Adidas Ec were leading 0-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Vítor Torres to strike the kick off in the second half. After 59 minutes of play, Adidas Ec's Baltazar Linhares made it 0-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Rafa Marinho was left in no man's land by his defense there! Renato Severo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 70th minute. Marcel Bezerra tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Ricardinho Tróia came up free with the goalie in the 72nd minute, the Adidas Ec fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ricardinho Tróia couldn't finish the play. 78 minutes into the match, Luan Perez had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Rafa Marinho. Cotinguiba AD's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Luan Perez was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-5. In the 81st minute Ricardinho Tróia shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rafa Marinho saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 82 minutes into the match, Cotinguiba AD's goalkeeper Rafa Marinho had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Luan Perez. With a little luck, Cotinguiba AD's Rafa Marinho got control of the ball when Luan Perez tried to sneak it across the goal line. A collision led to Cotinguiba AD getting a freekick after 85 minutes play. Sandrinho Silva hit a great ball. A hard shot 88 in the game by Luan Perez from a close distance when the talented Rafa Marinho managed to make a qualified save. Cotinguiba AD's players were relieved. The audience thought a goal was coming when Luan Perez got free with Rafa Marinho in the 90th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After a defensive mix-up in Cotinguiba AD's zone, Baltazar Linhares stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Rafa Marinho came out of the goal and Baltazar Linhares tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After having played for 94 minutes, Ricardinho Tróia managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Adidas Ec's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ricardinho Tróia was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal.
