Pedro Nunes didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Luo Ang Cheng in the 46th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Raí Linhares saved Itaipulândia Futebol Club from getting behind. Raí Linhares stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Luo Ang Cheng's shot from short distance in the 48th minute. Disappointed in the 0-4 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Luo Ang Cheng made a kick off. Açougue Santa Maria's Júlio Félix got a good chance for a goal in the 54th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar.
