Spectators: 7058 (Terracing: 5402, Seating: 1656, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Wágner de Lima kicked off to start the match. After a rather tough play, Pompeiro's Fernandinho de Moraes got a free kick in the 7th minute. Canuma SC's Naldo Miranda played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Wágner de Lima in the 9th minute of play. Juninho Nascimento struck a weak shot in the 12th minute. Joélson Saldanha didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Canuma SC. Juninho Nascimento fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Joélson Saldanha having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Magno Gaspar in the 22nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Joélson Saldanha saved Pompeiro from getting behind. Juninho Nascimento fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Joélson Saldanha having to interfere. In the 26th minute Magno Gaspar shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Joélson Saldanha saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Valdemar Romero received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 29th minute. Naldo Miranda tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 30th match minute, Canuma SC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gonçalo Magalhães to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Magno Gaspar in the 36th minute of play forced Pompeiro's goalkeeper Joélson Saldanha to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Joélson Saldanha took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Magno Gaspar, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Magno Gaspar made a kick off. In the 55th minute, Yuri Marquez hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, Canuma SC's Felipe Prado got a free kick in the 58th minute. Canuma SC's Juninho Nascimento got a good chance for a goal in the 61st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Juninho Nascimento had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The goalkeeper, Joélson Saldanha, was totally fooled by Canuma SC's Jano Secco, who 67 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. Joélson Saldanha took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Magno Gaspar, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Joélson Saldanha made an important save on a dangerous shot by Juninho Nascimento in the 74th minute. Naldo Miranda showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Valdemar Romero, who was totally free with the ball in the 80th minute. After 80 minutes of play, Pompeiro's Valdemar Romero made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Naldo Miranda was left in no man's land by his defense there! An unexpectedly hard shot by Magno Gaspar in the 86th minute of play forced Pompeiro's goalkeeper Joélson Saldanha to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 88th minute, Canuma SC's Magno Gaspar dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-2. Valdemar Romero recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 92nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Canuma SC's Naldo Miranda played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Wágner de Lima in the 94th minute of play. Canuma SC's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
