Spectators: 6670 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1670, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Pedro Luiz Cardozo took the kick off in the first half of the match. In the 6thth minute of the game Túlio Valle who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Caboto's Afonsinho Loureiro was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 7th minute of the game, Pedro Luiz Cardozo landed unfortunately after trying to head the ball, and pulled a muscle in the back, so badly that he had to leave the field. 8 minutes into the game, Gilberto Loyola was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Açougue Santa Maria's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Caboto the free kick. In the 8th minute, Gilberto Loyola hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Marcel Eger blasted a shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Afonsinho Loureiro having to make a save. Túlio Valle fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Afonsinho Loureiro having to interfere. Afonsinho Loureiro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Túlio Valle in the 16th minute of the match. When Onur Ali Pekiner came up free with the goalie in the 17th minute, the Açougue Santa Maria fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Onur Ali Pekiner couldn't finish the play. After some fancy dribbling in the 19th minute, Túlio Valle managed to get in a good position for a shot. Açougue Santa Maria's supporters rose to their feet, but Túlio Valle was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Afonsinho Loureiro breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Túlio Valle scored 0-1 in the 22nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Afonsinho Loureiro, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The supporters of Açougue Santa Maria booed when Caboto was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 26 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rubinho Pires didn't get a good kick on the ball. Túlio Valle's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Afonsinho Loureiro read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 27th minute of play. Rubinho Pires recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 31st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The supporters of Açougue Santa Maria booed when Caboto was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 31 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rogério Vinhas didn't get a good kick on the ball. The long shot by Durval Batista in the 41st minute really tested Angelo Sotero's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. With a little luck, Açougue Santa Maria's Angelo Sotero got control of the ball when Rubinho Pires tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 44th minute Túlio Valle shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Afonsinho Loureiro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Túlio Valle was the one to do the kick off. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Túlio Valle in the 53rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Afonsinho Loureiro saved Caboto from getting behind. Rubinho Pires fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Angelo Sotero having to interfere. Júlio Félix recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 61st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Onur Ali Pekiner fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Afonsinho Loureiro having to interfere. When Alessandro Macedo fell near the penalty area in the 66th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Caboto's protests and gave Alessandro Macedo a yellow card for diving instead. In the 66th minute, Alessandro Macedo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Túlio Valle in the 71st minute of play forced Caboto's goalkeeper Afonsinho Loureiro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 71 played minutes Açougue Santa Maria got a freekick which was hit by Franklin Sá. Rubinho Pires received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 74th minute. Angelo Sotero tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 75th minute, Júlio Félix hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 79thth minute of the game Túlio Valle who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Caboto's Afonsinho Loureiro was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Júlio Félix received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 81st minute. Afonsinho Loureiro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Caboto's Afonsinho Loureiro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Túlio Valle in the 83rd minute of play. After having played for 85 minutes, Túlio Valle managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Açougue Santa Maria's supporters crossed their fingers, but Túlio Valle was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Júlio Félix struck a weak shot in the 86th minute. Afonsinho Loureiro didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Açougue Santa Maria. When Açougue Santa Maria's Túlio Valle in the 92nd minute got a chance for a shot 92nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Caboto's goalie prevented a goal. If Túlio Valle had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 97th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The Caboto fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Açougue Santa Maria were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
