Felipe Prado hit a great freekick 14 minutes into the match. 1-0 became the score in the 16th minute when Marcel Eger elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Luo Ang Cheng could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 20th minute of the match, but Naldo Miranda made a huge save. With his leg Naldo Miranda managed to avoid a goal in the 22ndth minute, when Açougue Santa Maria's Luo Ang Cheng fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. If Luo Ang Cheng had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Felipe Prado during the 27th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 27 played minutes Canuma SC got a freekick which was hit by Felipe Prado. Naldo Miranda stood somewhat misplaced when Luo Ang Cheng came free in front of goal and shot 2-0 to the left of him in the 33 minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luo Ang Cheng in the 38th minute of play forced Canuma SC's goalkeeper Naldo Miranda to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Juninho Nascimento had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Açougue Santa Maria booed when Canuma SC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 46 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cauã Ferreira didn't get a good kick on the ball. Marcel Eger fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Naldo Miranda having to interfere. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.
54 minutes into the game, Dida Pinho threw the ball into play from the sideline. Açougue Santa Maria's Carlos Ortiz quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Carlos Ortiz struck a weak shot in the 55th minute. Naldo Miranda didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Açougue Santa Maria. Luo Ang Cheng fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Naldo Miranda having to interfere. After 62 played minutes, Açougue Santa Maria's Christiano Sabóia shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Naldo Miranda came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Açougue Santa Maria reached it. In the 65th minute of the match Gilberto Loyola sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Naldo Miranda skillfully saved the ball. If Luo Ang Cheng had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Marcel Eger recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 69th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 71 minutes, Luo Ang Cheng made it 3-0 with a short kick to the right side. Canuma SC's Naldo Miranda tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Luo Ang Cheng in the 75th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Naldo Miranda prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When Luo Ang Cheng came up free with the goalie in the 77th minute, the Açougue Santa Maria fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Luo Ang Cheng couldn't finish the play. Açougue Santa Maria's Júlio Félix got a good chance for a goal in the 79th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Luo Ang Cheng had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 83rd minute, Marcel Eger managed to get in a good position for a shot. Açougue Santa Maria's supporters rose to their feet, but Marcel Eger was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Naldo Miranda breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Naldo Miranda took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Onur Ali Pekiner, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Júlio Félix struck a weak shot in the 93rd minute. Naldo Miranda didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Açougue Santa Maria. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Luo Ang Cheng in the 95th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Naldo Miranda prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 96th minute, Cauã Ferreira hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. There was no doubt that Açougue Santa Maria were the better team. Açougue Santa Maria's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
