Raí Linhares showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Juninho de Almeida in the 15th minute of the match. Washington França received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 25th minute. Raí Linhares tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 32 minutes into the game, Juninho de Almeida recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Raí Linhares. Juninho de Almeida showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-0. Raí Linhares showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Juninho de Almeida in the 35th minute of the match. The audience was convinced that Juninho de Almeida's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Raí Linhares was relentless in the 38th minute of the game. The supporters of 09 de Julho booed when Itaipulândia Futebol Club was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 38 match minutes in a wonderful position. Pedro Luís Sampaio took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 58th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Humberto Alagoano. 09 de Julho's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Washington França struck a weak shot in the 63rd minute. Raí Linhares didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for 09 de Julho. Juninho de Almeida scored 3-0 in the 64th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Raí Linhares, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After a rather tough play, Itaipulândia Futebol Club's Pedro Luís Sampaio got a free kick in the 71st minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 75th minute, Washington França managed to get in a good position for a shot. 09 de Julho's supporters rose to their feet, but Washington França was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Raí Linhares breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 81st match minute, Itaipulândia Futebol Club was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kaká da Silva to maneuver through the defense. When Juninho de Almeida came up free with the goalie in the 83rd minute, the 09 de Julho fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Juninho de Almeida couldn't finish the play. 89 minutes into the match, Itaipulândia Futebol Club's goal looked a bit too open when Juninho de Almeida came free, but Raí Linhares reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. There was no doubt that 09 de Julho were the better team. 09 de Julho's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
