The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Laércio Aguiar showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. The crowd rose to their feet as Brave Tricolor SC's Raúl Trancoso slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Jano Nascimento. That made the score 1-0 after 9 minutes of play. After a rather tough play, Içara FC's João Adolfo Santos got a free kick in the 16th minute. Giovani Mesquita received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 19th minute. Laércio Aguiar tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Laércio Aguiar showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Otávio Alves, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. The supporters of Brave Tricolor SC booed when Içara FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 27 match minutes in a wonderful position. Afonsinho de Sousa didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 32nd match minute, Brave Tricolor SC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Belmiro Baptista to maneuver through the defense. Otávio Alves fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Laércio Aguiar having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 38th minute, Felippe Chaves managed to get in a good position for a shot. Brave Tricolor SC's supporters rose to their feet, but Felippe Chaves was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jano Nascimento breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 39th minute, Brave Tricolor SC's Allan Tepedino dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-0. Allan Tepedino's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jano Nascimento read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 48th minute of play. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

In the 58th minute, Belmiro Baptista got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 60th minute Raúl Trancoso shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jano Nascimento saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Brave Tricolor SC's Raúl Trancoso in the 71st minute got a chance for a shot 71st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Içara FC's goalie prevented a goal. In the 73rd minute, Otávio Alves got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Allan Tepedino had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Laércio Aguiar showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Otávio Alves, who was totally free with the ball in the 80th minute. Jano Nascimento took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Raúl Trancoso, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Otávio Alves in the 88th minute of play forced Brave Tricolor SC's goalkeeper Laércio Aguiar to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Otávio Alves fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Laércio Aguiar having to interfere. Içara FC's Jano Nascimento played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Raúl Trancoso in the 95th minute of play. For all the effort they put into the match, the Içara FC players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Brave Tricolor SC.
