Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 28thth minute of the game Waldir Ortiz who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Içara FC's Jano Nascimento was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Alex Gerber fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jano Nascimento having to interfere. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Waldir Ortiz stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Jano Nascimento took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alex Gerber, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Içara FC's Jano Nascimento played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Waldir Ortiz in the 62nd minute of play. Afonsinho de Sousa was shown his second yellow card after 62 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match.
