Spectators: 6660 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1660, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Gilmar Duarte took the kick off in the first half of the match. Christian Bezerra made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gilmar Duarte in the 5th minute of play. After 6 played minutes Lanceiro AD got a freekick which was hit by Walmyr Rosa. Christian Bezerra showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gilmar Duarte, who was totally free with the ball in the 10th minute. After 11 played minutes Tercado got a freekick which was hit by Horácio Santana. Tercado's Celso Tinoco proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 12th minute of the match, managed to save Tercado from getting a goal against them. Christian Bezerra stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Gilmar Duarte's shot from short distance in the 13th minute. In the 15th minute, André Luís Mattos made a precise shot to the right of Christian Bezerra. Lanceiro AD's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. In a very dangerous position, a player in Lanceiro AD fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 19th minute. Penalty! 0-2 came in the 22nd minute when Sidney Gerber all by himself managed to get straight through the defense and place the ball into the net to the right of Christian Bezerra. After having played for 28 minutes, André Luís Mattos managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Tercado's supporters crossed their fingers, but André Luís Mattos was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Celso Tinoco made an important save on a dangerous shot by Walmyr Rosa in the 34th minute. Christian Bezerra showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from André Luís Mattos in the 36th minute of the match. Gerson Arantes hit a great freekick 42 minutes into the match. Christian Bezerra didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Manuel Costa went, in the 45th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-3 was the resulting score. After the first half Tercado were leading 0-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Luís Eduardo Britto to make the kick off. Luís Eduardo Britto might have been able to make a better finish in the 55th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Celso Tinoco. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Luís Eduardo Britto ran back to his position shaking his head. Gerson Arantes charged in rather forcefully in the 58th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Gerson Arantes the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 58th minute, Gerson Arantes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a defensive mix-up in Lanceiro AD's zone, Gilmar Duarte stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Christian Bezerra came out of the goal and Gilmar Duarte tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 61st minute Luís Eduardo Britto shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Celso Tinoco saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. André Luís Mattos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 66th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Gilmar Duarte received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 68th minute. Christian Bezerra tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Gilmar Duarte recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 70th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 77th minute, Luís Eduardo Britto managed to get in a good position for a shot. Lanceiro AD's supporters rose to their feet, but Luís Eduardo Britto was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Celso Tinoco breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Celso Tinoco came out of the goal in the 96th minute to try and stop a shot by Lanceiro AD's Luís Eduardo Britto. But to his dismay, Luís Eduardo Britto quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-3. When the match was over Tercado could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Lanceiro AD throughout the match.
